Jason and Katie work with Karlee to build the Recognizing Nurses Informational Kits. Kim and others from Studio pitched in, as well.

One of the things I love about our sales team is that they are constantly pushing the envelope, especially when it comes to promoting local and ensuring that the Statesman is continually involved in important aspects of our community. The latest endeavor is an awards program and event called ‘Recognizing Nurses.’ The idea is simple: create a program that allows anyone in the Austin area to vote on a nurse that has impacted their life. From the nominees, seven nurses are selected to receive the Statesman’s RN Best in Class Award at a red carpet event held at the iconic Paramount Theater on Thursday, May 18.

Studio had the pleasure of creating the marketing materials to promote the program and event, helping local sales manager and Recognizing Nurses champion, Karlee Steele, put together the informational kits being delivered today to the major Austin-area hospitals.

We’re all super stoked about the initiative and, if you’re reading this, would love for you to help us get the ball rolling by nominating a nurse by visiting the website.
