Dan is Director of Statesman Studio. He manages daily operations and oversees the design, content, video and account teams. His extensive career as a manager, marketer, copywriter, and web producer for Fortune 500 companies, advertising agencies, and startups brings clients a well-rounded perspective, a wealth of experience, and work that has earned more than a dozen creative awards. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism from E.W. Scripps School of Journalism and a Master’s in e-Business from the University of Phoenix.
A maker at his core, with a lifetime of design and art experience, Avi communicates simply for brands. A student of his craft, he attended The New York School of Visual Arts and Parsons School of Design. New York City inspired Avi’s career and he has since created design, advertising and marketing for national and international brands (some award winning) such as The New York Jets, Tribeca Film Festival, Room Mates Hotel, Golfsmith International and a number of local brands in his beloved Austin Texas. Avi’s commitment to his profession, confidence in his craft and ability to lead and inspire his team is why his passion for perfection results in revenue driving work for Studio clients.
Daniel is an award-winning and Emmy-nominated filmmaker with over 20 years of creative collaborations in the television, film and advertising industries with a diverse roster of partners like AOL Media, CNN, Discovery, W2O Group, Stradella Road, New Line Cinema, Sony Pictures and others. His exacting eye and “anything’s possible” approach has continually worked to elevate and expand Studio’s video capabilities, which now include VR, drone and 360 video.
Always up for a challenge, and usually with a big smile on her face, Paige has worked in sales and marketing at the Statesman for over 5 years. After graduating with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Texas State University in San Marcos, she spent a year teaching art at a local school before landing her first support role at the Statesman in the advertising department, eventually moving up into a senior sales position before joining Studio. A perfectionist at heart, Paige strives to meet her clients' needs and expectations while managing her team’s workflow.
Katie brings years of experience working with creative teams to her role as account manager for Statesman Studio. Her no-nonsense style and meticulous attention to detail are perfectly suited for the dual role of keeping clients happy while finessing the creative team to help them work at their best. Katie also contributes her significant voice-over talents to video projects and is essential in planning and executing events.
A Texas native, Liz brings an energetic spirit to the Studio team with over four years of account management experience and two years in the video production industry. She is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Public Relations and a Bachelor of Arts in American Studies. Her passion is to help bring a brand’s story to life. Liz thrives in the faced-paced environment of media and seeks fulfillment through the successful delivery/execution of her client projects. If a client is happy, Liz is happy!
A founding member of Statesman Studio, Kim brings fearless creative and a bold approach to design to her role as Senior Designer. A Texas State graduate with a degree in Journalism and Communication Design, Kim’s strong organizational sense and unwavering eye for detail pervade everything she does, from her award-winning creative to her immaculate workspace. Kim keeps her finger on the pulse of the advertising world by curating the inspirational Studio Link Pack, and her cat is named after a font.
Jason has always been driven by the excitement of making something from nothing, or creating order from chaos. Extremely adaptable to Studio's changing needs, he has 15 years of experience working in a diverse array of media from visual arts to motion graphics to music. A film graduate of the University of Texas at Austin and a lifelong Texan, Jason has an exhaustive attention to detail and enjoys the challenge of producing quality work that stands out from the noise.
A storyteller at heart, Jake is passionate about building strong collaborative relationships and bringing an imaginative approach to projects. A Texas native with a background in filmmaking and photography, Jake has cut his teeth wearing multiple production hats in a variety of work ranging from psa, commercial, and short documentary. Informed by his experience as a photojournalist, Jake aims for emotion, honesty, and authenticity in his work. He is a University of North Texas graduate with a B.A. in Integrative Studies, focused in Marketing, Writing, and Applied Behavioral Analysis.
With over five years’ experience in everything from video and event production to client management and managing eclectic workspaces, Amanda thrives at the intersection of creative and tech industries. Anything from transporting hundreds of people to a remote island for a luau feast to putting hundreds of houses in virtual reality; the more impossible it sounds, the more she wants to be involved. On top of saving the world through groundbreaking media, Amanda is pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering, training for a marathon, and raising her son — the fourth generation of her native East-Austin family.
Drew is the content writer for Statesman Studio. Originally from Dayton, OH, Drew attended the University of Dayton and the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University. With a flair for wordplay and a crisp, clean communication style, Drew is an essential part of the messaging strategy for Studio, keeping clients happy with engaging native content pieces and sharp, incisive headlines.
Jennifer has 10 years of experience using market research and data analytics to deliver actionable insights to Studio clients.
